DR. DERZAY

Dr. Michael Derzay grew up in Anaconda, Montana. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Biology in 1993 from Carroll College in Helena, Montana. In 1998, he received his Doctor of Optometry degree, graduating with distinction from Pacific University College of Optometry in Forest Grove, Oregon.

Dr. Derzay has had specialty training at Barnet Delaney Perkins Cataract/Laser Center in Phoenix, Arizona as well as the United States Air Force Academy Hospital in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

He is a member of the American Optometric Association and Optometric Physicians of Washington. Dr. Derzay is an avid sports enthusiast. His personal interests include fly fishing, golfing, and numerous outdoor activities.

He lives in Spokane with his wife, Julie, his daughter, Adelyn, and son, Quinn. Dr. Derzay joined the Eye Consultants practice in 1999. He provides comprehensive eye examinations, pre and post operative management of cataract and refractive surgeries, treatment of ocular disease, glaucoma management, and contact lens fittings and evaluations.
