Dr. Sara Edmons (Bergman) is a native of Spokane, growing up in Millwood and graduating from West Valley High
School in 1987. She
then attended the University of Washington, receiving her Bachelor of Science degree in 1991. In 1995, she received her Doctor
of Optometry degree from the University of California Berkeley School of Optometry. She did specialty training at the American
Lake Veterans Administration Hospital in Tacoma, WA. After graduation, she moved to Monterey, CA to follow her husband, who was
in the Navy, and joined a private practice for 1 year. She then moved to San Diego, CA and worked for Kaiser Permanente HMO for
3 years. In 2000, she moved with her husband, Nate, and son, Jonah, back to Spokane to be closer to her family, and joined Eye
Consultants in 2000. Her husband is the Physics and Science teacher at Lewis and Clark High School.
Dr. Edmons is an Optometrist with an advanced therapeutic license. She performs comprehensive eye exams, diagnoses and treats
various eye diseases, does pre- and post-operative care for LASIK and cataract surgery patients, and fitting and follow-up for
contact lenses.
